![]() ![]() Before the series possibly exorcises the Devil Gene from its playable roster, however, Jin Kazama will be exercising more power than ever against Kazuya and other fighters. Thus, if this is the end for Jin, he'll go out with a bigger bang than he's ever made in battle. Being able to wield even a fraction of the Devil Gene's power while still retaining his own consciousness gives him a major edge over most of the series' characters, who are mere humans. This is backed up by his belief that the two shouldn't live among normal humans, and with Heihachi already dead after the conclusion of Tekken 7, it would mean the end of the Mishima family that's defined the series heretofore.Įven if Jin doesn't die, he's now far more powerful than ever before. He will see her as an opponent, who once foolishly thought she could save him and be intimidated by her powers. I think Kazuya would ignore any lingering feelings towards Jun Kazama, because she would be against what hes doing. In either allowing his body to become a more willing host to the Devil Gene or in controlling its dangerous power, Jin is likely being set up, along with his father, to die in the game's single-player storyline. He would wonder whats up her sleeve and how she would side with Jin. ![]() After this Jun comes back in some form with Jin for the final fight between Kazuya and Jin. There are also potential storyline developments that could come from this, with Tekken 8 possibly doing what its predecessor was intended to do and finishing off the Mishima Clan storyline for the franchise. Kazuya goes to the hachijo clan to look for answers about his mother and that could possibly lead to another story arc played by Kazuya with a new hachijo clan character being the boss of that segment.
